We are a 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION dedicated to growing disc golf in Frederick! Frederick is primed for a vibrant and thriving deaf disc golf community, and we’ve committed ourselves to making that a reality. Disc golf makes communities stronger; and with sustainable programming, partnerships, and community outreach we’re striving to make our sport accessible to all residents of the Frederick County.
Frederick Deaf Disc Golf Club (FDDGC) is excited and proud to host their inaugural David Martin Open Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday September 24, 2022. This event will be part of the Big East Tour (BET) https://bigeasttour.org/ which consists of 12 Tournaments on the East Coast beginning in February and ending in October. FDDGC is also working closely with local Disc Golf Club “Fredrock” to make this event memorable.
The David Martin Open event will be held at Woodsboro Park which is ranked by Disc Golf Scene as the #1 Disc Golf Course in Maryland and #60 in America. Woodsboro is 15 minutes drive northeast from Historic Frederick Maryland (population 70,000) home of the Maryland School for the Deaf and the famed Clustered Spires.
